You Scan Win It Promo

1. Failure to comply with any of the requirements or the terms and conditions herein will have the winner forfeit his/her winnings with prior approval from the DTI.

2. All disputes related to this Program will only be accepted within 7 days after the end of the Promo Period.

3. In case of any dispute with respect to the Promo, including eligibility, claiming of the prize, the decision of the partner merchant, with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.

4. BPI and its subsidiaries as well as its directors, officers and employees are not liable and shall be held rendered free and harmless for any loss or damage (including direct, indirect, and consequential loss) suffered or sustained by the accountholder resulting from the accountholder’s participation in the Program and receipt of the prizes.

1. The promo is open to first-time and current users of the BPI App’s Pay via QR feature. 

2. One raffle entry gives the BPI app user a chance to win a 2024 BYD Atto 3 Premium, flight credits, or a Php 50,000 shopping spree as prizes. 

3. Promo period will take place from October 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. 

4. Prizes will be rolled out per month. Twenty (20) PHP50,000 shopping sprees will be raffled for transactions made in October, fifteen (15) P100,000 flight credits will be raffled for transactions in November, and four (4) 2024 BYD Atto 3 Premium will be raffled for transactions in December. 

5. To enter, participants must use the BPI app’s Pay via QR at any merchant with an official merchant QR Ph code, with a minimum purchase requirement of P500. Each P500 increment within a single-receipt purchase will count as one (1) raffle entry. 

6. Each participant is eligible for up to ten (10) raffle entries per calendar month. 

7. The participant’s transaction number and details provided with their BPI account will be used to track their raffle entry. 

8. A participant may join again the following month to get a chance to win the other prizes. 

9. Transactions for or related to gaming, gambling, loans and lending will not qualify as raffle entries. 

10. BPI will monitor the earning of the electronic raffle entries. The data will be cross-checked by BPI Platforms and reviewed by BPI officers before being uploaded on an online randomizer. Winners will be drawn from the randomizer in the presence of authorized representatives from BPI and DTI on the date of the raffle. Raffle draws will happen on the 14th of the month each prize cycle. 

11. Winners will be notified by BPI via email, SMS, and registered mail through their registered email, mailing address, and mobile number within eight (8) business days after the raffle draw.  

12. The announcement of winners will be published on the BPI website five (5) business days after winners sign the quit claim for their prizes.  

13. Qualified winners are allowed to win one (1) prize per calendar month of the promo period. Should a winner be drawn twice in one month, another entry shall be drawn to replace the second one. 

14. Bank of the Philippine Islands employees and relatives up to 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the raffle.  

15. A quitclaim is required upon redemption of the prize. Redemption of prize is within 60 days upon receipt of winning notification through SMS and email. Prize not claimed within 60 days upon receipt of notification shall be forfeited in favor of Bank of the Philippine Islands with approval from DTI-FTEB.  

16. All taxes in relation to prize redemption will be shouldered by BPI. Other additional expenses incurred to claim the prize (e.g. travel to the dealership, airport travel tax, etc) will be shouldered by the winner.  

17. Clients have up to 7 days from the end of the promo to report possible disputes to BPI regarding the raffle entries earned. All aspects of the raffle promo are deemed final after this cut-off date.  

18. Prizes are transferable, but not convertible into cash. They will be awarded as follows after signing the quit claim:  

a. Shopping spree winners will have the cash credited to their nominated BPI account.  

b. Winners of the travel gift card from Philippine Airlines will receive an email from BPI with the gift card number and PIN. 

c. Winners of the car will be awarded with the car at the BYD dealership. 

19. Qualified customers who participate in this promo are subject to the terms and conditions of BPI.  

20. By participating in this promo, customers authorize BPI to share their relevant information (including personal information) to suppliers or merchants for the purpose of redemption and processing of the prize in the event the customer is declared a winner. 

21. By participating in this promo, customers authorize BPI to publish their names as winners of the You Scan Win It promo on the BPI website and in other promotional materials.  

22. By participating in the raffle draw, customers agree to the terms and conditions set by BPI governing the rules of participation. BPI reserves the right to verify the client’s personal information for the administration of the raffle. In the event such verification is not accomplished to the satisfaction of BPI, the client will be disqualified from the raffle with prior DTI approval. 

23. BPI reserves the right to forfeit the prize or invalidate the awarding to the winner should it be proven that the winner has provided any false information or committed any fraudulent act. In case of such an event, BPI may redraw another winner in the presence and upon approval of DTI.  

24. Terms and Conditions governing BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, which are made integral parts hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where these are applicable to this Program.
