1. Download the BPI app on the device where you receive BPI OTPs.
2. Open the app, then tap Login.
3. Enter your current username and password.
Troubleshooting tips:
Device requirements: Your device must run on iOS 14, Android 8, or higher. For your account security, The BPI app will only run on secure devices. Make sure your device is not jailbroken, modified, or rooted. For Android devices, make sure “Developer Options” is turned off in the device’s general settings.
This security step helps us make sure it's really you accessing your account.
1. Make sure your SIM can send one (1) text message.
2. Choose Secure SMS.
3. Tap Send SMS.
Important note: Do not switch apps during this process.
Android device
Once you tap Send SMS you'll be asked to allow the BPI app to Send SMS Messages and Get Device info. Select Always allow.
The app will automatically send the registration text message for you.
iOS device
The app will open Messages.
You'll see a message like the one above. Tap Send.
Troubleshooting tips
Need to change your mobile number?
A. Online
1. Go to BPI Online and enter your login details.
2. A popup for SMS OTP will appear, you need to click Not your phone?
3. Enter your BPI debit card number and your new mobile number.
4. Authorize this change in the nearest BPI branch ATM.
B. No debit card
Bring a valid government ID to your nearest BPI branch.
C. International hotline
If you're not in the Philippines, change your number by calling our international toll-free hotline. You can view the list of numbers you can call, depending on the country you're in here.
You need Mobile Key to authorize transactions quickly and securely.
1. On the app home screen, tap More > General settings
2. Under Security, turn on Mobile Key*
3. Nominate a 6-digit Mobile Key PIN
4. Enter your One-Time PIN (OTP)
Troubleshooting tips
A. Activation not working?
1. Make sure your phone has the time and date of your current location.
2. Turn on push notifications. Log in to the app and in the lower right corner tap More > General Settings, then under Notifications, turn on Push notifications and Transaction alerts and offers.
B. Not receiving an OTP?
1. Check if your cell signal is strong. If it isn't, move to an area with stronger signal.
2. Delete older messages on your phone to make sure there is enough space to receive a new message.
3. For Android devices, check your mobile phone's SMS Junk/Spam folder.
4. Turn Airplane mode on and off.
5. Restart your device.
