Win-win with Savings Promo

Qualifications

1. The Promo shall be open to new customers, who, for purposes of this Promo, are those customers with no existing relationship with and has no product availment from the BPI Group of Companies within the last twelve (12) months.

2. To qualify for the Promo, new Customers must open any participating BPI Savings Peso Account and reach a deposit balance of at least Fifteen Thousand Pesos (Php 15,000) of fresh funds within the promo period.

3. Participating BPI Savings Peso Account under this Promo are as follows:

4. BPI reserves the right to suspend or disqualify any person from further participation in the Promo, if in its judgement, that person has violated the Terms and Conditions herein, including but not limited to, the BPI Banking Terms and Conditions. Suspension or disqualification may result in the cancellation of the Customer’s right of participation and/or the economic equivalent of all rewards enjoyed.

Promo Duration: March 1 to August 31, 2025

General promo mechanics

1. Qualified new Customers shall choose from two (2) reward options through a 2-way Short Message Service ("SMS") from BPI to be sent to the Customer's mobile number indicated upon account opening.

a. Reward Option 1: Get a chance to win 2x their savings through raffle based on their thirty (30)-day Average Daily Balance (“ADB”) as of the Promo end date.

i. To choose reward option 1, the Customer must text the keyword “RAFFLE” to 09221101742

b. Reward Option 2: Earn promo cash credit equivalent to ten times (10x) the base interest rate of 0.0625% for six (6) months, starting from one month after the account opening.  

i. To choose reward option 2, the Customer must text the keyword “10X” to 09221101742

2. If the Customer is not able to choose a reward option through the 2-way SMS, the default reward will be Reward Option 1.

Reward Option 1 (Chance to win 2x your savings) mechanics:

1. A Qualified Customer with a deposit of at least Fifteen Thousand Pesos (Php 15,000.00) from the account opening date to end of promo period will earn fifteen (15) raffle entries.

2. For every additional One Thousand Pesos (Php 1,000) deposit, the Customer will earn an additional one (1) raffle entry. A maximum of fifty (50) raffle entries can be earned by each Customer.

3. Fifteen (15) lucky winners will be drawn in the raffle. The raffle will be drawn once on September 15, 2025, 3PM, at 7F BPI Consumer Center, 109 Dela Rosa cor. Paseo de Roxas St., Makati, Metro Manila, to be supervised by a Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative and will be conducted virtually via Zoom. 

4. The prize is based on the winner's 30-day ADB as of Promo end date. The maximum amount that a winner can get is Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 50,000.00).

5. Winners will be notified of their prize via short message service (SMS), electronic direct mail (EDM), and registered mail.

6. The awarding of prizes will be done within fifteen (15) banking days after the winners have signed their confirmation letter at the respective branch of their account.

7. The raffle prize, net of applicable taxes, will be credited to the winners’ own primary deposit account.

8. The raffle prize offered under the Promo shall not be convertible to credit, privileges, rewards and/or other items/products. The offers are non-transferable and may only be availed of by drawn winners.

Reward Option 2 (10x interest rate for 6 months) mechanics:

1. Qualified Customer will receive a promo cash credit equivalent to ten times (10x) the base rate of 0.0625% for six (6) months, starting from the next month after account opening. This shall be on top of the standard interest rate earnings from the account opened.

2. The interest rate will be applied to the 6-month average daily balance (ADB) of the account, to a maximum of Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 50,000) only. For purposes of this Promo, ADB refers to the sum of the daily end-of-day balances in the account for a month divided by the number of days in that month. The formula for computing ADB is as follows: 

ADB = (Day 1 ending balance + Day 2 ending balance …+ Day 30/31 ending balance) 

Number of days in the month (i.e. 30/31 days) 

3. The 0.0625% base rate shall be applied for reward option 2 regardless of the standard interest rate of the BPI Savings Peso Account opened. 

4. The promo cash credit shall be credited to the Customer’s BPI Savings Peso Account directly. An SMS informing of successful crediting will be sent to the Customer. 

General terms and conditions

1. Once a reward decision has been made via 2-way SMS, the chosen reward cannot be changed, replaced, nor retracted.

2. In case of disputes in respect of BPI and the Customer’s availment of the Promo, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. 

3. All disputes related to this Promo will only be entertained if submitted within sixty (60) banking days after the end of the Promo Period. 

4. BPI, in concurrence with DTI, reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or suspend the Promo at any time.  

5. Terms and Conditions governing the use of any BPI Savings Account, BPI Online and BPI Mobile App, and BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, which are made integrals part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable to this Promo. 

6. The Promo shall be subject to periodic review to ensure compliance with BPI’s policies and procedures, as well as with BSP rules and regulations and other applicable laws.   

7. The opening of any BPI Savings Account shall be subject to BPI’s applicable account opening parameters and requirements.

8. BPI and its subsidiaries are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with the prizes.  

9. BPI employees and their relatives up to the second (2^nd) degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified to join the Promo.

10. To the full extent allowed by applicable laws, all warranties, whether express or implied by law or statute, are excluded herein. BPI does not make any warranty, express or implied, with respect to any of the prizes.
