NEXT Referral Promo

These Terms and Conditions (“Promo Terms and Conditions”) govern the BPI REFERRAL PROMO 

The Terms and Conditions governing BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, the Banking Terms and Conditions, BPI Online Banking Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI Online and the BPI Mobile App, and the BPI Data Privacy Statement are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof (“BPI Terms and Conditions”).

The BPI Referral Promotion (“Promo”)

This Promo shall reward select BPI clients (“Referrers”) who refer New-to-Bank client/s (“Referral/s”). A reward will be given to the Referrer and Referral during the Promo Period which shall run from March 15, 2024 to July 18, 2024, provided that they meet the requirements stated below.

Program Eligibility and Participation

1. This Promo is open to Referrers who receive a unique referral code via SMS or electronic direct mail, and to successful Referral/s.

2. A successful referral is a New-To-Bank client who fulfils the following criteria:

a. Opens any type of deposit account or investment account with any of the BPI Group of Companies with a minimum deposit or investment of PHILIPPINE PESOS: ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND (Php 100,000.00) in Fresh Funds during the Account Opening Period;

b. Maintains a minimum Average Daily Balance of Php 100,000.00 during the entire duration of the Tracking Period; and

c. Enrolls their account/s in BPI Online;

3. Account opening is subject to BPI’s standard requirements and relevant BPI Terms and Conditions.

4. Interested Referrers who wish to participate may submit their referrals through their respective Branch Managers by filling up the Referral Form, or through the online sign-up page.

5. BPI reserves the right to terminate the eligibility of the Referrer, if at any time, during the Promo

Period, the referred New-to-Bank client’s ADB falls below the requirement or for any violation of this Promo Terms and Conditions and the BPI Terms and Conditions.

6. All employees of BPI and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining this promo.

Rewards

1. Electronic Gift Certificate

a. Referrers are eligible to receive an eGC worth One Thousand Pesos (Php 1,000.00) via Giftaway for every successful Referral.

b. Upon confirmation of maintained Fresh Funds, the reward in the form of an electronic gift certificate will be awarded to the Referrer on the 3rd calendar month from the account opening date of their Referrals. See table below for illustration:

c. The rewards shall be subject to the general terms & conditions of the partner merchants. 

2. Raffle

a. Both Referrers and Referrals can earn raffle entries for a chance to win major and minor prizes based on the activities below: 

b. The raffle draws will be held on-site at the 7/F BFB Building, Paseo De Roxas Corner Dela Rosa Street, Makati City and/or via zoom in the presence of a Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative at 3:00 PM, based on below draw dates:

c. An Eligible Client can only win once during the Program Period. If the name is drawn more than once, the winner must get the prize with a higher value.

d. Only Eligible Clients who did not win during previous Raffle Draw Dates will still be included in the succeeding Raffle Draw Dates.

e. Winners of each raffle draw will be notified within ten (10) business days after raffle draw date through their registered mail, email, SMS, and their Branch Manager.

f. Tax (including 20% withholding tax for prizes exceeding P10,000.00) and other expenses that will be incurred in relation to the prize shall be shouldered by the bank.

g. The prizes are non-transferable and not convertible to cash and cannot be replaced with other items/services.

h. Raffle winners are given sixty (60) business days to complete a form and present two (2) valid government IDs to claim their prize. Once the winner has successfully completed the form, the prize will be issued within ten (10) business days and can be claimed at their main branch.

i. Prizes should be claimed within sixty (60) days from the receipt of registered notice, or it will be forfeited in favor of BPI with prior approval of DTI.

Dispute Resolution

1. In case of any dispute or issue between BPI and the Referrer/Referral in connection with terms and conditions of the Promo the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI on the dispute or issue shall be considered final.

2. In case the dispute or issue is in connection with the participating merchants or service providers and the latter's performance and/or delivery of services under this program, subject to the terms and conditions set out above, the resolution of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. 

Definition of Terms

Average Daily Balance (ADB) - the sum of the daily end-of-day balances in the account for a month divided by the number of days in that month. The formula for computing ADB is as follows:

(Day 1 ending balance + Day 2 ending balance + Day 30/31 ending balance)/Number of days in the month (i.e. 30/31 days);

BPI Group of Companies – Bank of the Philippine Islands, BPI Direct BanKo Inc., BPI Investment Management Inc., BPI Capital Corporation, BPI Securities Corporation, and BPI Asset Management & Trust Corp. (BPI Wealth);

Fresh Funds – means any money that is not proceeds from a withdrawal or termination of any BPI deposit accounts or proceeds from termination of investments with any member of the BPI Group of Companies;

New-to-Bank BPI Clients - clients with no existing relationship with and no product availment from any of the BPI Group of Companies within the last twelve (12) months;

Account Opening Period – March 15, 2024 to July 18, 2024
