Pay bills

This is a new feature that allows you to pay select billers by uploading or scanning their QR code without needing to add the biller as a Favorite.

There are two ways to Pay Bills via QR code: scanning the QR and uploading the QR.

Scanning the QR code: 

1. Before logging into the app:  tap the QR icon in the bottom part of the login screen or 
 After logging into the app: tap Pay/Load > Bills 

2. Point your camera at the QR Ph code of your biller

3. Enter the amount to pay and additional details if needed

4. Select which deposit account to pay from, then tap Continue 

5. Double-check the details of your payment and then tap Confirm 

6. Approve the transaction with Mobile Key. 

You’ll see a confirmation screen that your transaction is successful.

Uploading the QR code: 

1. After logging into the app, tap Pay/Load  > Bills 

2. Under Pay to, tap Do you have a QR code? 

3. Find the QR code in your phone’s images  

4. Enter the amount to pay and additional details if needed  

5. Select which deposit account to pay from, then tap Continue 

6.  Double-check the details of your payment and then tap Confirm 

7. Approve the transaction with Mobile Key.

You’ll first need to add your biller as a Favorite. Here’s how:

1. Log in to your BPI online account through the BPI app or via web browser.

2. Tap or click on the settings icon (⚙️) in the upper right corner of your home screen.

3. Scroll down to Transactions and select Manage Favorites > Add new Favorite.

4. Select Billers, then select your biller’s name from the list.

5. Type in your biller reference number, then Continue.

6. Double-check the details and Confirm.

7. Approve adding this Favorite with Mobile Key.

Once you’re done adding your biller to your Favorites, follow these steps to pay:

1. In the main menu, select Pay/Load > Bills.

2. Select the account or card you want to pay from.

3. Select the biller from your list of Favorites.

4. Enter the amount you want to pay, then Continue.

5. Double-check the details of your transactions, and Confirm.

6. Approve the transaction with Mobile Key.*

*In case Mobile Key is down, you’ll have the option to approve with a One-Time PIN.

Note: The amount you paid will immediately be deducted from your account, but it will take up to three (3) banking days for your biller to reflect the payment.

You can add to your Favorites by logging in to your BPI online account through the BPI app or via web browser, then simply follow these steps:

1. Tap or click on the settings icon (⚙️) in the upper right corner of your home screen.

2. Scroll down to Transactions and select Manage Favorites > Add new Favorite.

3. Select Billers, then select your biller’s name from the list.

4. Type in your biller reference number, then Continue.

5. Double-check the details and Confirm.

6. Approve adding this Favorite with Mobile Key.

Your done! You can start paying your biller as soon as they’ve been added as a Favorite.

You can schedule a new transaction when you log in to your BPI online account through the app or via web browser. 

Once logged in, follow these steps: 

1. Tap or click the settings icon in the upper right corner of the home screen. 

2. Scroll down to Transactions and select Manage scheduled transactions > Schedule new transaction.

3. Select the transaction type and enter the recipient or biller details. 

4. Select the account you want to use to pay or transfer from, and enter the amount. 

5. Under Frequency, choose if you want this transaction to happen one time, monthly, or quarterly. *

6. Select the date of when you want the transaction to take place, then Continue.

7. Review the details of your scheduled transaction and Confirm.

8. Enter the One-Time PIN sent to you registered mobile number. 

 
You’re done! You’ll see a confirmation screen with all the details of your scheduled transaction, and will receive a confirmation as well. 

*For recurring transactions, you’ll also be asked how many times you want the transaction to take place. You can choose up to 12, for monthly transactions, and four (4) for quarterly transactions.

The amount you paid is deducted from your account immediately, but it can take up to three (3) banking days before it reflects with your biller.

It’s best to pay more than three (3) banking days before your bill’s due date to avoid potential late fees.

It depends on the biller. For example, it can be emailed along with your bill, or posted at their service center. It would be best to ask your biller for their QR.

Right now, not all biller QR codes are supported. We’re working on making this available for all billers. In the meantime, these are the billers you can Pay via QR.
