1. The Promo winners will have the opportunity to select and place any items, including duplicate or multiple products, into a maximum of 1 (one) grocery cart within 173 seconds. By participating, winners agree to adhere to this time limit and accept that any items selected within this timeframe are eligible for inclusion in their final prize.
2. BPI will cover the cost of the grocery items grabbed during the 173 seconds Hakot Papremyo Challenge up to a limit of Fifty Thousand Pesos (PHP50,000) only. Any costs in excess of said limit will not be shouldered by the Bank.
3. In case the total price of the grocery items grabbed exceed PHP50,000, the winner shall have the chance to choose which items to include or exclude from his haul; provided, that items damaged during the Hakot Papremyo Challenge will be automatically included in the computation of the PHP50,000 limit.
4. In computing the P50,000 limit, the regular price of the items will be considered. Discounts given to PWD, senior citizens, loyalty card holders, etc., will not be applied for purposes of the computation.
5. If the total cost of the items grabbed during the Hakot Papremyo Challenge is below Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 50,000), the winner shall not be entitled to the difference.
6. Winners must claim their prize within sixty (60) days from receipt of the winners’ notification.
7. Winners will be required to present two (2) valid government IDs for purposes of verification prior to being allowed to claim their prize.
8. Should the winner be unable to claim the prize or to participate in the Hakot Papremyo Challenge, he may appoint a representative to act on his behalf. Said representative must bring the following:
- A letter of authorization signed by the winner, nominating said representative to participate in the Hakot Papremyo Challenge on his behalf; and
- Two (2) valid government IDs of both the winner and representative.
9. Should the Hakot Papremyo Challenge winner be unable to attend the agreed-upon schedule, he/she will only be allowed to reschedule once. If the winner fails to attend the rescheduled event, the prize will automatically be forfeited.
10. Should any winner's account be closed for whatever reason at the date of the raffle draw, the prize shall be automatically forfeited.
11. The prize offered under the Promo shall not be convertible to cash, credit, privileges, and/or other rewards.
12. The prize package does not cover any logistics or transportation expenses related to claiming the prize and the items acquired during the challenge. Winners are solely responsible for arranging the transportation or logistics of the items they have selected.
13. BPI will shoulder the 20% prize tax imposed on raffle prizes exceeding Ten Thousand Pesos (Php 10,000).
14. BPI shall contact the winners and agree with them regarding their preferred location to claim their prizes. BPI will then select the partner grocery store within each winner’s selected location, where the winner will participate in the Hakot Papremyo Challenge.
15. By participating in this raffle, the winners consent to sharing to the Bank his/her personal information for the purposes of prize redemption and the right to publish and use the winners’ names and/or photographs and/or videos in connection with the Bank’s promotional activities in any form whatsoever, including website, social media, and other publications, without further compensation or notice.
16. In case of disputes in respect of BPI and a customer’s availment of the Promo, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.
17. All disputes related to this Promo will only be entertained if submitted within sixty (60) banking days after the end of the Promo Period.
18. Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI Regular Savings account, BPI #SaveUp account, BPI #MySaveUp, BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, which are made integrals part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable to this Promo.
19. The Promo shall be subject to periodic review to ensure compliance with BPI’s policies and procedures, as well as with BSP rules and regulations and other applicable laws.
20. BPI and its subsidiaries shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with the use and enjoyment of the prizes.
21. BPI employees and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified to join the Promo.
22. To the full extent allowed by applicable laws, all warranties, whether express or implied by law or statute, are excluded herein. BPI does not make any warranty, express or implied, with respect to any of the prizes.
