Promotion mechanics

Win exciting rewards when you open and/or fund a BPI Regular Savings, #SaveUp, or #MySaveUp account, through BPI’s Hakot Papremyo Raffle Promo (the “Promo”).

 

General policies 

1. These Terms and Conditions govern the Promo for New-to-Bank ("NTB") and existing BPI customers who successfully open and/or fund a BPI Regular Savings, #SaveUp, or #MySaveUp account, subject to the eligibility requirements further prescribed hereunder. 

For purposes of this Promo, NTB customers shall be defined as those who do not have any existing relationship with BPI (in terms of availed products or services) at the time of the Promo.

2. The Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI Regular Savings account, #MySaveUp account, BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, as well as the BPI Data Privacy Statement, are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof. 

 

Eligibility and participation

1. The Promo shall culminate in three raffle draws, with the following promo periods:

August 1, 2024 to August 31, 2024

September 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024

October 1, 2024 to October 31, 2024 

2. The Promo shall be open to both NTB and existing customers of BPI, who shall be entitled to earn raffle entries as follows:

For NTB customers:

  • One (1) raffle entry, upon opening a BPI Regular Savings, #SaveUp, or #MySaveUp account within any of the promo periods; 
  • One (1) raffle entry, for every Php 5,000 worth of fresh deposits into their BPI Regular Savings, #SaveUp, or #MySaveUp Account, to be determined at the end of the relevant promo period.

For existing customers:

  • Select BPI deposit accountholders who will receive an SMS and/or e-mail notice from BPI of their eligibility to join the Promo shall earn one (1) raffle entry for every Php 5,000 increase in their BPI deposit account’s Average Daily Balance (ADB)1 by the end of the relevant promo period:

3. Each NTB and existing customer may only participate in one promo period (Wave 1, 2, or 3): 

  • For the NTB customer – the promo period when they open a Regular Savings, #SaveUp, or #MySaveUp account.
  • For the existing customer – the promo period when they receive the notification of their eligibility to join the Promo, but there is no limit to the number of raffle entries said customer can earn during said period 

4. The raffle draws will be held in the office of BPI at 7th Floor, BPI Consumer Center, corner of Dela Rosa and Paseo De Roxas Streets, Makati City, with representatives from BPI and DTI on the following dates:

5. Raffle entries earned for a relevant promo period shall expire after the raffle draw for that period, and shall not be valid for succeeding raffle draws.

6. All raffle winners will be notified that they won the raffle via SMS, e-mail, and snail mail on the dates below, and such notification shall include the instructions on how to claim their prize:

7. BPI reserves the right to suspend or disqualify any person from further participation in the Promo if, in its judgment, that person has violated the terms and conditions herein. Suspension or disqualification may result in the cancellation of the individual's right of participation and/or the economic equivalent of all rewards enjoyed.

 

Average Daily Balance or ADB is the sum of the daily end-of-day balances of the account for the month, divided by the number of calendar days in a specific month. Formula for computing ADB is as follows: (Day 1 ending balance + ... + Day 30/31 ending balance) / number of days in a month
The computation of the incremental ADB, for purposes of determining the number of raffle entries, will be the Month to Date (MTD) ADB on the last day of the promo period less the MTD ADB on July 31, 2024 for Wave 1, August 31, 2024 for Wave 2, and September 30, 2024 for Wave 3.
