General policies

The Terms and Conditions governing BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, the  Banking Terms and Conditions, BPI Online Banking Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI Online and the BPI Mobile App, and the BPI Data Privacy Statement are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof (“BPI Terms and Conditions”). Further,  Terms and Conditions govern the Promo for select BPI deposit accountholders who:

i. receive a notice from BPI of their eligibility to join the Promo;  and

ii. complete any milestone from the bucket; subject to the eligibility requirements further prescribed hereunder.

Eligibility and Participation

1. Promo Duration - The Promo shall cover entries from August 27, 2024 to October 31, 2024.

2. Eligible Accountholders - The Promo shall be open to identified BPI clients who :

a. receive an email, SMS, and/or in-app notification from BPI of their eligibility to join the Promo; and

b. complete any milestone from the bucket to earn raffle entries. Please see list of Milestones and sample computation if all Milestones are completed below:

3. Raffle Entries - Eligible Accountholders shall be entitled to earn the following raffle entries:

i. Five (5) raffle entries -  for one completed saving milestone from the bucket saving list.

ii. Ten (10) raffle entries – for two completed saving milestones.

iii. Thirty (30) raffle entries - for three completed saving milestones.

4. Raffle Draw - The raffle draw will be conducted on November 14, 2024 at the 7th Floor, BPI Consumer Center, Paseo de Roxas corner Dela Rosa Street, Makati City at 10:00 AM by an authorized BPI representative and witnessed and supervised by DTI representatives.

i. An Eligible Accountholder may only win once during the Promo. If a name was drawn more than once, another draw will be performed.

ii. Announcement of winners shall be done on November 20, 2024 and the winners will be notified via email by BPI. The winners shall also be contacted by BPI representatives through their registered mobile and/or email address to validate the winner’s identity and to provide instruction to claim the prize.

iii. The Promo winners shall contact BPI’s partner agency, Karilagan International Travel & Tours Corp. (KITTCO), to plot their travel arrangements including the details of their chosen companions. The Promo winners must secure their travel dates on or before December 15, 2024.

iv. Travel period is valid 6 months from the date of redemption and is not valid for the following peak seasons: Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year, and Holy Week.

v. The Promo winners and their chosen companion/s should have a valid passport at least six (6) months before actual travel date. If the Promo the winners and/or his/her companion have no valid passport at the time of travel, the prizes are transferable provided that airfare and tour tickets and hotel bookings are not issued yet.  However, prizes may not be converted to cash or any other cash equivalent.

vi. BPI reserves the right to suspend or disqualify any person from further participation in the Promo if, in its judgment, that person has violated the terms and conditions herein. Suspension or disqualification may result in the cancellation of the individual's right of a participation and/or the economic equivalent of all with concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.

Prizes

a. For this campaign, there will be ten (10) winners of the 3 Days, 2 Nights trip to Hong Kong good for four (4).

b. Prizes should be claimed within 60 days from the receipt of registered notice or it will be forfeited In favor of BPI with prior approval of DTI.

Other terms and conditions

1. The prize offered under the Promo shall not be convertible to credit, privileges, rewards and/or other items/products.

2. Prizes are transferable, provided that airfare and tour tickets and hotel bookings are not issued yet.

3. Raffle winners will be notified via their registered mobile and/or email address and will be sent a letter via registered mail.

4. To claim the raffle prize, the winner must provide the following to BPI and partner agency:

a. Updated Passport with validity of at least six (6) months before actual travel date when submitted to BPI and partner agency

b. Scanned copy of a photo bearing valid government-issued ID

c. BPI notification certifying that the client is one of the winners

d. Signed consent form

5. All tickets/accommodation in connection with the Prizes were procured and supplied by Karilagan International Travel & Tours Corp. (KITTCO). Any issue/concern pertaining to the tickets, accommodation, and activities/itineraries shall be raised to and addressed/settled by Karilagan International Travel & Tours Corp. (KITTCO). The winner and their chosen companion shall have sole recourse against Karilagan International Travel & Tours Corp. (KITTCO) in case of any issue on the tickets, accommodation, and activities/itineraries, including but not limited to changes/delay/cancellation of flight schedule, and non-admission to the hotel and shall have no recourse whatsoever against BPI, its directors, officers, employees, and representatives.

6. In case of disputes in respect of BPI and the Eligible Accountholder’s availment of the Promo, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.

7. Any dispute related to this Promo will only be entertained if submitted within sixty (60) banking days after the end of the Promo Period.

8. BPI, with the concurrence of DTI, reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or suspend the Promo.

9. The Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, which are made integral parts hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable to this Promo.

10. The Promo shall be subject to periodic review to ensure compliance with BPI’s policies and procedures, BSP rules and regulations and other applicable laws. 

11. BPI and its subsidiaries are not liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury (including direct, indirect, and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with the use of the prizes.

12. BPI employees and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified to join the Promo.

13. BPI will shoulder the 20% tax, if any, for the raffle prizes exceeding Ten Thousand Pesos (Php 10,000).

14. By participating in this Promo, the winners of the Promo and their companions hereby agree as follows:

i. BPI is authorized to provide information of the winners to third-party contractors or agents to implement the Promo including the processing of transactions, raffle draw and prizes;

ii. To allow BPI to collect the personal information of the winners and their companion during the travel, including but not limited to their name, mobile number, and e-mail address. In this connection, BPI may, subject to compliance with applicable rules and regulations, use and disclose the personal information of identified winners, including their name, photographs, and videos, for marketing purposes related to this Promo and the winners and their companions agree to waive any right to royalties, fees  or any form of remuneration for such use on TV, radio, BPI website, BPI social media pages, and press releases.

The winners agree and will cause his/her companion to agree to the post-event communication to be done by BPI and in connection  thereto, the winners consent and shall cause his/her companion to consent that BPI has the right to take their photographs and videos during activities within the travel period and to use these photographs and videos in any and all post-program publicity materials /media, whether online and offline,  and other marketing materials of BPI. A consent form shall be for this purpose shall be signed by the winners. In this connection, the winners and their companion deemed to have waived any right to any royalties, fees or any form of remuneration for such use on TV, radio, BPI website, BPI social media pages, and press releases.
