Program mechanics

Qualifications

The promo is an exclusive offer to a select group of Existing customers of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and successfully referred new-to-bank (NTB) customers within the promo period.  

 

Promo Period: May 13 to July 31, 2024

 

1. All existing BPI customers who receive a Call-A-Bigan referral code from BPI and their successfully referred new-to-bank (NTB) customer who opens any BPI Savings Account (excluding a Jumpstart Savings and a #MySaveUp Account) will be eligible to earn one (1) raffle entry each, subject to the requirements of Sections 2 and 3 below.  

 

2. Customers must be able to meet the following qualifications to be considered as “Qualified Customers” and will be able to qualify for the campaign if they meet the following qualifications:

a. Existing BPI customers who have received the BPI Electronic Mail (EDM) or SMS containing the referral code and have successfully referred a New-To-Bank (NTB) customer to open a BPI Deposit Account (excluding a Jumpstart Savings and a #MySaveUp Account). An existing BPI customer is deemed to have successfully referred a New-To-Bank (NTB) customer upon fulfillment by the NTB customer of Sections 2(b)(i) to (vi) below.

b. New-to-bank (NTB) BPI customers: 

i. Must have opened any BPI Savings account that is not Payroll-initiated (excluding a Jumpstart Savings and a #MySaveUp Account) during the Call-A-Bigan promo duration;

ii. Must have no prior existing BPI account;

iii. Must follow the account’s Average Daily Balance (ADB) requirement 1

iv. Must have the BPI App downloaded and linked to opened account;

v. Must be 18 years old and above; and

vi. Must have accomplished the Call-A-Bigan online referral form after account opening.

1 Average Daily Balance or ADB is the sum of the daily end-of-day balances of the account for the month, divided by the number of calendar days in a specific month. Formula for computing ADB is as follows: (Day 1 ending balance + ... + Day 30/31 ending balance) / number of days in a month

3. Customers can earn raffle entry during the promo period by successfully achieving the activities shown below. A “Qualified Customer” is a customer who successfully earns a raffle entry as provided below.

5. Qualified Customers will receive an SMS confirming their raffle eligibility one (1) banking day before the raffle draw.

 

6. A monthly raffle draw will be held via a private Zoom meeting between the Core Mass Acquisition team and DTI representatives after fourteen (14) days after the last day of the previous month.

8. All raffle winners will be notified via SMS and EDM two (2) banking days after the raffle, including instructions on how to receive their prize. The redemption period of prizes is 60 days from the receipt of instruction via SMS and EDM of the raffle winner.

 

9. Raffle entries will expire after each monthly draw and cannot be used in succeeding raffle draws. 

 

10. BPI and its subsidiaries are not liable for, and shall likewise be held free and harmless and indemnified from, any loss, damage, suit, cost, expense, tax, fee, or personal injury (including direct, indirect, and consequential loss) incurred, suffered or sustained (as applicable) by any person in connection with the participation in the promo and the prize's use.   

 

11. BPI employees and relatives up to 2nd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified to join the promo.

 

12. Any dispute related to this raffle promo will be accepted only within 60 banking days after the end of the promo period In case of dispute, the decision of BPI Unibank with concurrence of DTI will be final. 

 

13. BPI, with the concurrence of DTI, reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or suspend the raffle promo at any time.

 

14. The Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, as well as the BPI Data Privacy Policy, are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof.
