How to Avail the Promo

The Promo is open to pre-selected BPI Debit Mastercard® cardholders who received promotional materials through their mobile or email registered in BPI’s system record

Step 1: Register

Register to the promo using your birthdate (month and day), the unique promo code sent to your mobile or email registered in BPI’s system record, and your mobile number. 

1. Visit the Giftaway web platform registration portal. 

2. Enter your unique promo code, birthdate (month and day), and mobile number. 

Important reminders:

• Successful registration is required to qualify for the promo. 
• After completing the registration process, Giftaway will send a real-time SMS of the confirmation of successful registration validation with a unique link to the customer’s redemption portal. 
• Transaction(s) made prior to the date of registration will be included if it is within the given registration validity date indicated in the promotional materials sent to your mobile or email registered in BPI’s system record. 

Step 2: Use your Debit Card and Earn Badges

1. Customers must use their BPI Debit Mastercard® in the following categories within the given promo duration (stated in the promotional materials) to earn badges and qualify for a free drink upsize. Usage in each category is equivalent to one (1) badge. 

2. Customers can earn a maximum of three (3) badges throughout the promo. 

3. There is no required minimum transaction amount for each category.

Badges are awarded and updated on a weekly basis. Once registered, customers can view their earned badges by: 

a. Accessing the unique link sent by Giftaway via SMS upon successful registration. This serves as the customer’s unique redemption portal. 

b. Logging-in in the Giftaway web platform using their assigned promo code stated in the promotional materials through their mobile or email registered in BPI’s system record.

Step 3: Redeem your Free Drink Upsize and Choose your Reward 

1. Upon earning a badge, customers can already redeem a free drink upsize through the Giftaway web platform by entering their promo code or by accessing the unique link sent by Giftaway via SMS to the mobile number used during the registration.  

2. Customers can get a maximum of two (2) free drink upsizes throughout the promo. One (1) free drink upsize is only applicable to the next size (e.g., small to medium or medium to large).

3. Customers will have to select “Claim Reward” and choose where they want to get the free drink upsize from the redemption partners below: 

• The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
• Bo's Coffee
• Chatime

4. A confirmation page will prompt, followed by the redemption notification sent via the registered mobile number with an eGC code from Giftaway for the free drink upsize and a link on how to use your redemption code. Specific redemption instructions are provided per redemption partner. 

5. The eGC is for one-time use only. Redemption is within 60 days from the last day of the registration date indicated in the promotional materials. 

6. Once a redemption is made, it cannot be cancelled, reversed, or applied to another item, or eGC. 

Terms and Conditions

1. The Promo is open to pre-selected BPI Debit Mastercard® cardholders who received promotional materials through their mobile or email registered in BPI’s system record.  

2. To join the promo, customers must register via the Giftaway web platform registration portal using their birthdate (month and day), unique promo code stated in the promotional materials. Successful registration is required to qualify for the promo.

3. Transaction(s) made prior to the date of registration will be included if it is within the given registration validity date indicated in the promotional materials. 

4. By completing the registration, the Customer agrees that his/her personal information shall be subject to the confidentiality, data privacy, and the security terms of the service provider, Giftaway. 

5. Customers must use their BPI Debit Mastercard® in the following categories within the given promo duration (stated in the promotional materials) to earn badges and qualify for a free drink upsize. Usage in each category is equivalent to one badge. 

6. Customers can earn a maximum of three (3) badges throughout the promo. There is no required minimum transaction amount for each category.

8. The following transactions are qualified, but not limited to:

• Local In-Store Purchase
• Online Purchase (either local or international)
• Contactless Payment (either local or international)

9. The following transactions are excluded from this promo: 

•  Transactions from stock trading, foreign exchange trading, financial trading services, remittance and the like; mobile payment/mobile wallet transactions and online payment system (such as but not limited to GrabPay, GCash, PayMaya, PayPal, Coins.ph, and the like) such as:
  • POI Funding Transactions
  • Member Financial Inst-Merchandise and Services
• Business transactions such as but not limited to:
  • Direct or multi-level marketing, as well as from merchants specifically engaged in wholesale and distribution
  • Payment services
  • Professional services. 
• Transactions from casino/gambling, money transfers, quasi cash financial institution, political organizations and bail & bond payment such as:
  • Bail & Bond Payments
  • Betting (Including Lottery Tickets, Chips)
  • Government Owned Lottery
  • Internet Gambling
  • Government Licensed Horse/Dog Racing
  • Wire Transfer Money Orders
  • Quasi Cash-Member Financial Inst.
  • Quasi Cash-Merchant
  • Organizations, Political

10. Upon earning a badge, customers can already redeem a free drink upsize through the Giftaway web platform by entering their promo code or by accessing the unique link sent by Giftaway via SMS to the mobile number used during the registration.  

11. Customers can get a maximum of two (2) free drink upsizes throughout the promo. One (1) free drink upsize is only applicable to the next size (e.g., small to medium or medium to large).

12. Customers will have to choose where they want to get the free drink upsize from the redemption partners below: 

• The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
• Bo's Coffee
• Chatime

13. Once the free drink upsize reward is claimed in the web platform, redemption notification will be sent via the registered mobile number with an eGC code from Giftaway for the free drink upsize and a link on how to use your redemption code. Specific redemption instructions are provided per redemption partner. 

14. Redemption is within 60 days from the last day of the registration date indicated in the promotional materials sent through the customers’ mobile or email registered in BPI’s system record.

15. The eGC is for one-time use only.

16. All terms and conditions relating to the use of eGC code redemption per merchant, as indicated in the redemption portal, shall apply. 

17. The status of each qualified eGC will be reflected in the redemption portal (Active, Used, Expired)

18. The eGC is not valid in conjunction with any ongoing promos. 

19. All earned but unredeemed eGCs will expire and be deactivated sixty (60) days from the registration validity date indicated in the promotional materials. 

20. All unredeemed eGCs at partner merchant will be deactivated sixty (60) days from registration validity date indicated in the promotional materials. 

21. Once a redemption is made, it cannot be cancelled, reversed, or applied to another item, or eGC. 

22. All questions and issues arising from the Promo will only be accepted within sixty (60) banking days after the last day of promo period, after which BPI shall no longer accommodate disputes.

23. Fraud, abuse, or any unauthorized action on debit card transaction or the participation/availment in the promo may result in the disqualification of the cardholder from the promo, suspension and/or cancellation of card privileges, according to BPI’s discretion.

24. In case of dispute with respect to BPI only and the customers' availment of the promo eligibility, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final. However, if the dispute involves participating Merchant and its performance and/or delivery of products to customers, subject to the General Provisions set out above, the decision of BPI and participating Merchant with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.

25. BPI is authorized to give necessary information to its third-party contractor or agent to perform and complete the processing of transactions or redemption process of the eligible rewards. 

26. The BPI Debit Mastercard® Terms and Conditions, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable to this Promo or to the use of the BPI Debit Mastercard®.
