BPI Credit Card Control empowers you to protect your credit cards real-time. Choose to temporarily block or permanently block your card using BPI Online, in case of loss, theft, or compromise.
What can I manage with BPI Credit Card Control?
At this time, you can:
- Temporarily block your card
- Unblock your temporarily blocked card
- Permanently block your card
Is BPI Credit Card Control available for all my credit cards?
Credit Card Control is available for both principal and supplementary cardholders with cards in good standing.
BPI Corporate Cardholders may use Credit Card Control for Temporary Blocking and Card Unblocking requests.
When should I temporarily block or permanent block?
If you’ve temporarily misplaced your card or would like to temporarily lock your card for security purposes, opt to temporarily block your card.
If case of loss, theft, or compromise, opt to permanently block your card to prevent unrecognized or fraudulent transactions.
How long after I change a setting will it take effect on my card?
Blocking and Card Unblocking requests are effective real-time.
If you have chosen to replace your card, please allow 3 to 5 banking days for card delivery within NCR or 7 to 10 banking days for outside NCR.

Temporary blocking
What will temporary blocking my card do?
Temporarily blocking will lock your card, restricting all new transactions on your card. This includes new ecommerce or in-store purchases, bills payments, and subscriptions charges.
Ongoing installment plans will continue to be charged.
Can I unblock my card?
You may unblock your Card Control-temporarily blocked BPI Credit Card any time within one year of the original block date.
Credit cards temporarily blocked on other BPI channels may be unblocked only within 24 hours of the request.
How can I know my card is blocked?
- Immediately after temporary blocking your card, the Temporary Block toggle will be shown as active.
- In the Card Control menu, the card will be shown with a ‘Temporarily Blocked’ tag.
How long can I keep my card temporarily blocked?
It is recommended to unblock your card as soon as you deem it safe to, to continue enjoying the benefits of your BPI Credit Card.
Credit Cards blocked for more than one (1) year, even if the card is unexpired, shall be considered as permanently blocked.

What else should I do after permanently blocking my card?
- Monitor your transactions. Report any unrecognized transactions immediately; please send us a message or call our 24-hour BPI Contact Center at (+632) 889-10000.
- Request for a replacement card. Once permanently blocked, your lost or fraud-compromised card is no longer available for use. Request for a replacement at our 24-hour BPI Contact Center to continue enjoying the benefits of your BPI Credit Card.
- Settle your outstanding balances. Permanently blocked cards are not considered as ‘closed’ or ‘cancelled’. Any remaining balances must be settled to avoid past due accounts.

How can I request for a replacement card?
- Opt to ‘Block and Replace Card’ when making your permanent block request.
- Call our 24-hour BPI Contact Center at (+632) 889-10000 or visit any BPI Branch.
Are there fees charged for card replacement?
Card replacement requests may be subject to the Card Replacement Fee. See our Credit Card Table of Fees for more information.
When will my replacement card arrive?
For physical cards, your new BPI Credit Card will be delivered within 2-3 banking days for NCR and 5 to 7 banking days outside of NCR.
For virtual cards, your replacement card details will appear in your BPI Online account within 2 to 3 banking days.
My delivery details are outdated. How can I update?
You may proceed to any BPI Branch to update your delivery address.
Will my replacement card bear the same card details?
No. Upon receipt of your replacement card, update your credit card details with the merchants, subscriptions, or any auto-charge services you may have enrolled the prior card.
I am not shown the option to replace my card. How can I request card replacement?
