Mobile Check Deposit or MCD is a facility that allows the business customer to deposit a check for local clearing via the BizLink Mobile app.

What is the BizLink Mobile Check Deposit facility?
Who are eligible to use the MCD facility?
All BizLink enrolled businesses with enrolled PHP currency account/s (Savings and/or Checking).
The facility is available to transactional Makers and Multi-role Makers in BizLink.
What is the definition of a Maker and a Multi-role Maker in BizLink?
A transactional Maker can initiate financial transactions and view accounts, transaction history and reports.
A Multi-role Maker can also initiate financial transactions, view accounts, transaction history and reports like a Maker but with additional functionalities and role/s that may be assigned to them. (Ex. Can Authorize for another facility assigned/enrolled to them)

What type of checks can we deposit using this facility?
- All local checks for clearing (BPI and non-BPI) and Manager’s check payable in Philippine currency only
- Checks with dates not more than six (6) months or 179 days from date of deposit
- Payable to the order of the Company Name, where the Payee name written on the front of the check matches the BPI account name
- NOT previously negotiated or presented to any local bank, either over the counter or digitally.
What are the requirements to deposit a check through the BizLink app?
Based on the PCHC regulatory for check deposits done through a mobile app, client must completely fill out the PHP check, including the Dorsal Deposit Information (DDI).
A DDI is the information written at the back of the check that includes the Bank Name, Payee Signature, Account Number, and Date of Deposit.
What type of checks are not eligible for deposit using the facility?
- Checks drawn on a Financial Institution located outside the Philippines,
- Checks bearing second and/or multiple endorsements,
- Checks payable to any person/entity other than the Company, including checks paid to Cash.
- Checks that were returned by PCHC – previously negotiated or cancelled checks,
- Checks with missing Dorsal Deposit Information (DDI) at the back of the check,
- A photocopy of the check or printed on accredited check paper when the photo was taken
- Checks with alternations, smudges, or stains on the face of the check
- Checks Payable in foreign currency
- Post-dated, Out-of-date, or Stale-dated checks.

What is the maximum amount that we can deposit through the BizLink app?
Is there a limit on the number of checks we can deposit via the BizLink app?
There is no limit on the number of checks you can deposit through the BizLink app. If you deposit more than 10 checks a day, you may want to inquire about the Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) with your Relationship Manager.

How do we make a check deposit using the BizLink app?
- Download the latest version of the BizLink app.
- Log-in with your Corporate ID and User ID,
- Tap “Deposit Check”
- Review guidelines and tap "Start Deposit"
- Take a photo of the front and back of the check. Ensure that the back of the physical check indicates the following information:
- Bank of the Philippine Islands or BPI, Your Signature, BPI Account Number where the check will be deposited, and Date of Deposit
- Enter the amount and the date written on the check.
- Choose the account where the check will be deposited to.
- Tap "Submit"
Can I make a check deposit anytime using the BizLink app?
You can deposit checks anytime, anywhere, subject to these clearing guidelines:
- Checks deposited on banking days within the clearing cut-off of 3:00 PM will be processed within the day.
- Checks deposited past the cut-off time of 3:00 PM, during weekends, or holidays will be processed on the next banking day.
Check status
How will I know the status of my deposited check?
You may view the status of your mobile check deposits in the web or mobile app by selecting Check Deposit Inquiry.
You will be able to view all your check deposits in the last 3 months. The status may be any of the following:
- For Clearing – Check is still undergoing processing.
- Rejected – Check was rejected within the day of deposit due to technical defects.
- Returned – Check was returned by the drawee bank due to technical defects.
- Cleared - Check has cleared and funds have been credited.
What do we need to do if the check being deposited via BizLink app was rejected?
If the check is rejected due to missing information, you may still deposit the check via the BizLink Mobile App.
If the check is rejected where the corrections require alterations or erasures on the check, a new check must be requested from the drawer of the check.
What do we need to do if the check being deposited via BizLink was returned?
If the check is returned by PCHC on the day after the check is deposited, then you may re-deposit the check to any BPI Branch for second presentment. To know if your check is qualified for re-deposit, you may call your branch of account.
Re-deposit of checks shall automatically be rejected if re-deposited via the BizLink Mobile App.

Are there any fees or charges in using the BizLink MCD facility?
MCD is free of charge.
When will the funds deposited via MCD be available?
All local checks (BPI and non-BPI) and Manager's Check shall undergo 1-day clearing. The funds shall be available for withdrawal once cleared by the Drawee Bank.
Checks deposited after cut-off, Weekends, and Holidays, shall be available on the next banking day.
