Outside the office, Ms. Marcial dedicates her time to society and the environment. She is a fellow of the Foundation for Economic Freedom, trustee and Treasurer of World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines, and a member of the National Advisory Council of WWF Philippines. She is also the Treasurer of BPI Foundation and Board Director of Philippines Inter-Island Sailing Federation. She was recognized as one of Top 25 Most Influential Women in Asset Management in Asia by Asian Investor and Most Outstanding Alumnus of the University of the Philippines Los Baños.

Ms. Marcial obtained her Master’s Degree in Economics in 1995 from the University of the Philippines Diliman and BS Economics, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines Los Baños in 1990. She completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2010 and the CFA Institute Investment Management Workshop also at Harvard Business School in 2006.
