Mr. Periquet also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Bank of the Philippine Islands from April 2012 until December 2021. He was elected as an Independent Director in April 2012 and was a member of the Executive Committee from 2013 to 2021, and of the Retirement Pension Committee during the 2019 and 2020 terms. From 2019 to 2021, he likewise served as member of the Personnel and Compensation Committee. He was also appointed as Chairman of the Nomination Committee in April 2020 and April 2021, respectively.

Education
Mr. Periquet graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with an AB Economics degree in 1982. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from Oxford University and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
