The E-commerce sub-limit toggle is a new feature in Card Control that will allow you to utilize your available purchase limit specifically for E-commerce transactions instead of the default daily E-commerce sub-limit of Php 20,000.
What is the E-commerce sub-limit toggle in Card Control?
How can I access the E-commerce sub-limit toggle?
The E-commerce sub-limit toggle is only available in the new BPI app. You can only access the E-commerce sub-limit toggle if the E-commerce access is turned ON. This new feature is available in Card Control under the new BPI app. Please refer to the steps below:
a. Log in to the new BPI app
b. Select “More”
c. Click “Card Control” and choose the card you wish to adjust
d. Turn your “E-commerce access” ON
e. Key in the One-Time PIN (OTP)
f. Go to “E-commerce sub-limit” and disable/enable the toggle
g. Key in the One-Time PIN (OTP) again
For added security, we highly encourage you to disable your E-commerce access or enable your E-commerce sub-limit once your transaction is done.
What will be my E-commerce Purchase Limit if E-commerce sub-limit toggle is turned ON/OFF?
If your card’s E-commerce sub-limit is enabled, your card will have a Php 20,000 daily limit for online purchases. If the toggle is switched off, your set daily purchase limit will apply. You can change your daily purchase limit via Card Control up to Php 250,000 per day. You may also refer to the table below:

What is the maximum Purchase Limit I can use once I turned my E-commerce sub-limit OFF?
This will depend on your current purchase limit. The default Purchase Limit is set at Php 100,000 per day which you can increase up to a maximum of Php 250,000 via Card Control. You can set this up in BPI Card Control > Purchase Limit.
Will I receive a notification message upon turning the E-commerce sub-limit OFF?
Yes, an email notification will be sent to your registered e-mail address stating the changes made to your account. This also signifies that you can already use your available Purchase Limit for your E-commerce/online purchases.
What will happen if I turned the E-commerce sub-limit toggle “ON”?
The E-commerce Purchase Limit will be reverted to the Php 20,000 default daily limit.
Can I toggle the E-commerce sub-limit ON and OFF as needed?
Yes, you can toggle the E-commerce sub-limit ON or OFF based on your preferences and transaction requirements. OTP is no longer required if you will revert the E-commerce sub-limit toggle ON.
Should I turn ON the E-commerce access first before accessing the E-commerce sub-limit toggle?
Yes, you should turn ON your E-commerce access first. The E-commerce sub-limit toggle will only be viewable once the E-commerce access is turned on.
What transactions will be affected by the implementation of this new feature?
Enabling/disabling the E-commerce sub-limit only affects E-commerce/online purchases using your BPI Debit Mastercard®.
