The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has been named the Best Retail Bank in the Philippines at the prestigious TAB (The Asian Banker) Global Excellence in Retail Finance Awards 2025, affirming its leadership in financial innovation, customer-centric banking, and sustainable growth.

Now in its 24th year, the TAB Global Excellence in Retail Finance program is one of the most esteemed awards in the industry. The rigorous selection process evaluates banks across dozens of categories in multiple regions, including Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and global markets.

The Best Retail Bank by Country award honors financial institutions that excel in financial performance, market leadership, and innovation, providing outstanding value to retail customers while ensuring sustainable growth and surpassing local competitors.
