The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) was recently recognized by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) as the ‘Best Collection Partner’ at the PhilHealth Stakeholders’ Awarding Ceremony. The award acknowledges BPI’s invaluable support in nation-building and fulfilling PhilHealth’s mandate of providing social health insurance services to Filipinos.

BPI has been an accredited collecting agent of PhilHealth since 2008 and collects PhilHealth employee premiums from employer-clients through the BizLink app, the bank’s online banking platform which provides financial management solutions for large corporations. In 2023, BizLink processed over 150,000 PhilHealth transactions.

BPI Capital, the bank’s investment banking arm, was also recognized for being one of PhilHealth’s top investment house counterparties. BPI Capital supports PhilHealth’s health insurance initiatives by providing comprehensive and bespoke capital market solutions.

In 2023, BPI was also recognized as the Market Leader and for providing the Best Services for Cash Management among all domestic banks, according to a survey conducted by Asiamoney. Additionally, BPI was awarded in the Social Security System’s (SSS) Balikat ng Bayan Awards as the ‘Best Collection Partner’ under the Universal Bank category.
