"At the heart of these partnerships lies our vision of enhancing access to our range of products and services. We aspire to seamlessly integrate banking into the daily lives of our consumers, and achieving this objective involves bringing BPI to where they are," said TG Limcaoco, BPI President and CEO.

Driven by the pioneering efforts of the newly-established Agency Banking Group, these strategic partnerships are poised to redefine convenience and accessibility in the banking landscape. The partner stores, in conjunction with BPI's expansive network of 700 plus branches, over 2,000 ATMs, and rapidly-evolving digital platforms, are set to cater effectively to the diverse banking needs of Filipinos.

"The extension of BPI's presence to our partner stores means the reimagination of the customer journey with the vision of a smooth and intuitive application process. By simply scanning the BPI product QR codes at our partner stores, consumers can effortlessly open a savings account or apply for credit card, loans, and insurance products," said Rally Jereza, Head of BPI Agency Banking.

Meanwhile, the recently launched BPI Flagship Store at LazMall has gained remarkable traction, adding over fifty thousand followers within its first seven months of operation. Thousands of applications have been successfully processed through this platform, demonstrating the growing enthusiasm for BPI's innovative approach. Adding to its current offerings for retail customers (Vybe, #SaveUp, credit cards, personal, auto and housing loans, life, and non-life insurance), the Store has also introduced Ka-Negosyo SME Loans, contributing to the diversification of services offered to also cater to business customers within the Lazada eco-system.

Jereza also emphasized the upcoming onboarding of additional brick-and-mortar partners nationwide and more digital partners in the forthcoming months. This expansion strategy will further augment the network of customer touchpoints where BPI's services are available. "Our ambition is to be omnipresent — as encapsulated by our rallying cry, May BPI dito, May BPI kahit saan!’’
