BPI Wealth Invites Participants for FinQuest 2024: Road to Financial Inclusion

BPI Wealth, the wealth management arm of Ayala-led Bank of the Philippine Islands, is excited to announce the call for participants for FinQuest 2024: Road to Financial Inclusion, an innovative event designed to empower graduating students to tackle the pressing issue of financial inclusion in the Philippines. This year’s FinQuest will feature two key components: The Challenge and The Summit, aimed at fostering creativity and providing essential financial knowledge to the next generation.

The Financial Inclusion Challenge

The Challenge invites university students from across the country to pitch innovative solutions to the widening financial inclusion gap in the Philippines. Despite the economic recovery post-pandemic and the availability of investment solutions aimed at democratizing access and affordability of investments, a significant portion of the population is still not investing, missing out on opportunities for financial growth and security. Participants will have the chance to present their ideas to a panel of esteemed judges, with the opportunity to win exciting prizes and recognition for their ingenuity.

The Summit

The Summit, which will take place on October 21, 2024 at the Space at One Ayala, will be a series of enlightening talks focused on financial wellness and management, tailored for young adults as they transition into the next stage of their lives. Experts on investment management and wealth building from BPI Wealth will cover a range of topics including budgeting, investing, and long-term financial planning, providing participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed financial decisions to build a secure future.

Why Participate? Finquest 2024 offers graduating students a unique platform to showcase their talents, contribute to meaningful solutions, and gain invaluable insights from industry experts. Participants will benefit from networking opportunities, mentorship, and the chance to make a significant impact on financial inclusion in the Philippines. BPI will also open up opportunities for employment to the successful participants of the program. Additionally, winners will receive cash prizes of up to Php 100,000.

Teams who wish to participate in the FIC should register and signify their intent to participate through the Financial Inclusion Challenge registration form.
