Promo mechanics

The Bank to Build Promo (“Promo”) is open to select clients as they start and/or maintain their relationship with the Bank of the Philippine Islands (“Bank”).

 

General Policies

1. These Terms and Conditions govern the Promo for select BPI clients who meet the minimum eligibility requirements prescribed hereunder.

2. The Terms and Conditions governing BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, and the BPI Data Privacy Statement are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof.  

3. Any dispute related to this Promo will be subject to the decision of the Bank in concurrence with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

4. Employees of the Bank, including their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity and affinity, are disqualified from joining the Promo.

 

Promo Eligibility and Participation

1. The Promo, which shall run from October 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, shall be open to: (i) a select set of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Individual primary accountholders (“Client”) only, with a valid registered email address with the Bank; and (ii) who shall receive an electronic mail (E-Mail) communication confirming their invitation to participate in the Promo.  The list of participating deposit and/or investment products are listed in Annex “A”.

2. Eligible BPI clients shall be selected based on BPI’s criteria and requirements, such as but not limited to age (between 25-34 years old), amount of balance maintained with BPI, and such other criteria based on BPI’s requirements.

3. Qualified Clients shall earn raffle entries as they grow their total relationship balance (TRB) by adding fresh funds into their deposit and/or investment accounts as follows:

4. The Promo shall consist of one (1) raffle draw, within the Promo Period and qualification dates:

5. The number of raffle entries to be awarded to a Qualified Client will be determined by adding their deposit and investment ADB for every month covered within the Promo Period, as illustrated below:

6. BPI reserves the right to suspend or disqualify any person from further participation in the Promo, if in its sole judgement, that person has violated the Terms and Conditions herein. Suspension or disqualification may result in the cancellation of the individual’s right of participation and/or the economic equivalent of all rewards enjoyed.

 

Raffle Prize

1. There will be one (1) raffle winner for the Promo Period, who will win the following prize:

2. All prizes under the Promo shall not be convertible to cash, credit, gift certificates, privileges, rewards and/or other items/products. They may not be exchanged with any other product. The prizes are non-transferable and may only be availed by the Client.

3. Philippine final withholding tax on the prizes, if any, shall be for the account of BPI.

 

Raffle Draw and Announcement of Winners

1. The raffle draws will be held on-site at the 7/F BPI Consumer Center, Dela Rosa Street corner Paseo De Roxas, Makati City and/or via zoom in the presence of a DTI representative.

2. The winner of each raffle draw will be notified within ten (10) business days after raffle draw date through their registered address, official email address, SMS, and their Branch Manager.

3. Winners are given sixty (60) business days from receipt of the Bank to Build Winner Form to accomplish the same. Once the winner has successfully submitted the form, the prize will be available to redeem within fourteen (14) business days. Should a winner fail to accomplish the Bank to Build Winner Form within the 60-day period prescribed, the winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the prize, and the prize will be given to the back-up winner selected during the raffle draw.

4. Each Qualified Client can earn as many raffle entries as they can for the duration of the Promo, but they can only win once. As such, a redraw will be conducted if a winner from a previous Promo Period is drawn for a succeeding Promo Period.

 

Miscellaneous

1. All new account openings are subject to existing policies and procedures of BPI.

2. In case of dispute in respect of BPI and the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.

3. Any dispute related to this Promo will only be entertained if submitted within sixty (60) banking days after the end of the relevant Promo Period. 

4. BPI, with the concurrence of DTI, reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or suspend the Promo at any time.

5. The Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels and the Preferred Banking Terms and Conditions, which are made integral parts hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable to this Promo.

6. The Promo shall be subject to periodic review to ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures, as well as with BSP rules and regulations and applicable laws.

7. To the full extent allowed by applicable laws, all warranties, whether express or implied by law or statute, are excluded herein. BPI does not make any warranty, express or implied, with respect to any of the prizes.

8. BPI and its subsidiaries are not liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury (including direct, indirect, and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with the use of the prizes.
