These Terms and Conditions (“Promo Terms and Conditions”) govern the BPI MEMBER-GET-MEMBER PROMO.
The Terms and Conditions governing BPI’s Products, Services, Facilities and Channels, the Banking Terms and Conditions, BPI Online Banking Terms and Conditions governing the use of BPI Online and the BPI Mobile App, and the BPI Data Privacy Statement are hereby incorporated by reference and shall form an integral part hereof (“BPI Terms and Conditions”).
The BPI Preferred Member-Get-Member Promo (“Promo”)
All existing Primary BPI clients (“Referrer”) may refer New-to-Bank client/s (“Referral”) to the NEXT by BPI Preferred, BPI Preferred and BPI Gold program and get rewarded.
Eligibility and participation
1. A reward will be given to Referrers for any of the following successful referrals during the Promo Period:
a. Successful Gold Referral - New-to-Bank client who opens a Deposit and/or Investment account with a minimum combined value of Php 5 Mn in Fresh Funds and maintains the minimum Gold TRB requirement after 90 calendar days from account opening.
b. Successful Preferred Referral – New-to-Bank client who opens a Deposit and/or Investment account with a minimum combined value of Php 1 Mn in Fresh Funds and maintains the minimum Preferred TRB requirement after 90 calendar days from account opening.
c. Successful NEXT by BPI Preferred Referral - New-to-Bank client who opens a Deposit and/or Investment account with a minimum combined value of Php 100k in Fresh Funds and maintains the minimum NEXT by BPI Preferred TRB requirement after 90 calendar days from account opening.
Note: New-to-Bank are clients no existing relationship with and no product availment from any of the BPI Group of Companies within the last twelve (12) months.
2. The opening of the NEXT by BPI Preferred, BPI Preferred, and Gold Accounts shall be subject to BPI’s applicable account opening parameters and requirements.
3. The Referrer must be an existing BPI client at the time of referral submission.
4. The Referrer must submit their completed Referral Form/s through the following designated methods:

5. Failure to submit the Referral Form within 30 days from opening of the Referral’s account through any of the designated methods will result in ineligibility from Promo participation.
6. BPI reserves the right to terminate the eligibility of the Participants if at any time during the Promo Period, the Referrer’s ADB falls below the requirement or for any violation of these Promo Terms and Conditions and the BPI Terms and Conditions.
7. Employees of BPI Group of Companies and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity, are disqualified from participating in this Promo.
Promo period
8. The Promo shall run from October 21, 2024 to December 31, 2024 (“Promo Period”).
Rewards
9. Reward for successful referrals will be in the form of Giftaway electronic gift certificates (eGC).
10. Tiered rewards for successful referrals are as follows:

11. Only the fresh funds deposited during account opening will be considered in determining the reward to be given to the Referrer. Subsequent deposits, on top of this shall not be included in the calculation for determining the reward.
12. If the Referrer has multiple Referrals, the Referrer will be rewarded per successful referral. See table below for illustration:

Awarding procedure
13. Upon confirmation of maintained fresh funds, qualified Referrers will be informed by the following BPI branch representatives on the quantity of successful referrals, its equivalent amount in rewards, as well as request for the Referrer’s consent in submitting their email address and mobile numbers to Giftaway Inc. for the sole purpose of reward redemption:
a. BPI Gold and BPI Preferred Referrers will be contacted by their respective BPI Relationship Managers
b. All other Referrers will be contacted by their respective Branch Managers
14. The reward will be awarded to the Referrer after 90 calendar days from the account opening date of their respective Referrals. If the reward disbursement date falls on a holiday, it will be awarded on the next available banking day. See table below for illustration:

15. Redemption and use of the rewards shall be subject to the applicable terms & conditions of Giftaway Inc.
Dispute resolution
16. All disputes related to this Promo will only be accepted within sixty (60) banking days after the end of the Promo Period.
17. In case of any dispute with respect to the Promo Terms and Conditions including Promo eligibility, the decision of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.
18. In case the dispute or issue is in connection with the redemption and use of eGC issued by the Giftaway Inc. and the latter's performance and/or delivery of services under this Promo, subject to the terms and conditions set out above, the resolution of BPI with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.
Definition of terms
19. Average Daily Balance (ADB) - the sum of the daily end-of-day balances in the account for a month divided by the number of days in that month. The formula for computing ADB is as follows:
(Day 1 ending balance + Day 2 ending balance + Day 30/31 ending balance)/Number of days in the month (i.e. 30/31 days)
20. BPI Group of Companies – Bank of the Philippine Islands, BPI Direct BanKo Inc., BPI Investment Management Inc., BPI Capital Corporation, BPI Securities Corporation, and BPI Asset Management & Trust Corp. (BPI Wealth).
21. Fresh Funds – means any money that is not proceeds from a withdrawal or termination of any BPI deposit accounts or proceeds from termination of investments with any member of the BPI Group of Companies.
22. New-to-Bank BPI Clients - Clients with no existing relationship with and no product availment from any of the BPI Group of Companies within the last twelve (12) months.
Other conditions
23. BPI and its subsidiaries as well as its directors, officers and employees are not liable and shall be held rendered free and harmless for any loss or damage (including direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained by the Promo participants resulting from their participation in the Promo and receipt of the reward.
24. BPI, in concurrence with DTI, reserves the right to terminate, discontinue, or cancel the Promo at any time.
25. BPI is authorized to give the necessary information to its third-party contractor or agent to complete the processing of the rewards of qualified Referrer/s and Referral/s.
26. By participating in this Promo, the qualified Referrer/s and Referral/s agree to allow BPI to collect their personal information, including but not limited to their name, mobile number, and e-mail address. Additionally, BPI will secure active consent and permission from the qualified Referrer and Referral to use and disclose their personal information, including their name, photographs, and videos, for marketing purposes related to this promotion. The qualified Referrer/s and Referral/s agree to waive any claims to royalties, rights, or remuneration for such use on TV, radio, BPI website, BPI social media pages, and press releases.
