Transfer money

Using the BPI App:

1. Log in to the BPI app and tap Transfer > To own account.

2. Select the account you want to transfer from, then the account you want to transfer to.

3. Type in the amount you want to transfer, then tap Continue.

4. Review the details, and tap Confirm.

You’re done! You’ll see the changes in account balance in real-time.

Using BPI via web browser:

1. Go to BPI online and log in.

2. In the menu on the left of the screen, click Transfer > To own account.

3. Click Transfer from, then select the account you want to transfer from.

4. Click Transfer to, then select the account you want to transfer to.

5. Enter the amount you want to transfer. If you plan to make this transfer regularly, you can adjust the Frequency to set a scheduled transfer. Click Continue.

6. Review the details of your transaction and click Confirm.

You’re done! You’ll get an email with all the details of your money transfer.

Using the BPI App:

1. Log in to the BPI app and tap Transfer > To another BPI account.

2. Select the account you want to transfer from.

3. Tap Transfer to, then do one of the following:

If you’re transferring to an enrolled account, select the recipient from your list of enrolled accounts.

If you’re transferring to an unenrolled account, click Enter account number manually. Copy-paste or type in the account number in the field that appears.

If you’re transferring via QR code, go back and click Do you have a QR code? Then upload your QR from your device.

4. Enter the amount you want to transfer, then tap Continue.

5. Review the details of your transaction and tap Confirm.

6. Approve your transaction with Mobile Key.

You’re done! Your recipient will get the money transfer in real-time.

Using BPI via web browser:

1. Go to BPI online and log in.

2. Select Transfer > To another BPI account

3. Select the account you want to transfer money from.

4. Click Transfer to, then do one of the following:

If you’re transferring to an enrolled account, select the recipient from your list of enrolled accounts.

If you’re transferring to an unenrolled account, click Enter account number manually. Copy-paste or type in the account number in the field that appears.

If you’re transferring via QR code, go back and click Do you have a QR code? Then upload your QR from your device.

5. Enter the amount you want to transfer, then click Continue.

6. Review the details of your transaction, then tap Confirm.

7. A pop-up will appear, telling you to continue with Mobile Key.

8. On the device where Mobile Key is activated, tap the push notification from BPI, then tap Approve.

You can transfer money via QR code through the BPI app or via web browser.

Using the new BPI app

Transferring to another BPI account:

1. Log in to the BPI app and tap Transfer > Transfer via QR code.

2. Scan the QR code or, if you’ve saved the QR code to your phone’s image gallery, tap Upload QR code instead

3. Select the account you want to transfer from.

4. Type in the amount you want to transfer, if needed, then tap Continue.

5. Review the details of your transaction and tap Confirm.*

6. Approve your transaction with Mobile Key.

You’re done!

*Transfers to other banks via QR code can only be done through InstaPay; a Php 25 fee will be deducted from your account per transaction.

Using BPI via web browser

3. Select the account you want to transfer from.

5. Enter the amount you want to transfer, then click Continue.

6. Review the details of your transaction, then tap Confirm.*

7. A pop-up will appear, telling you to continue with Mobile Key.

There are three ways you schedule your transactions using BPI via web browser: Before, during, and after your transaction.

Before your transaction:

You can schedule a transaction at least one banking day in advance before 10 PM.

1. After logging in to BPI via web browser, click the settings icon in the upper right corner of the home screen.

2. Scroll down to Transactions and click Manage scheduled transactions.

3. Click Schedule new transaction in the upper right corner of the screen, then select the kind of transaction you want to schedule.

4. Select which account you’ll be transferring or paying from, and indicate who you’ll be sending to or paying.

5. Enter the amount you’ll be transferring or paying.

6. Choose the Frequency of this transaction, and the date you want to schedule this transaction. Click Continue.

7. Review the details of your transaction, then click Confirm.

8. Enter the One-Time PIN sent to your registered mobile number.

You’re done!

For fund transfers scheduled on a weekend or holiday, your transaction will happen on the next banking day. Please make sure your account has enough funds before the scheduled transfer.

During your transaction:

You can schedule the transaction to happen at least one banking day after you fill out the details. Here’s how:

1. Enter your transaction details.

2. In the Frequency section, select if the transaction is one of the following from the drop-down menu:

a. One Time

b. Monthly

c. Quarterly

3. Click the calendar icon and select the date when you want your transaction to happen.

4. If this is a recurring transaction, set the number of times you want this transaction to take place.

5. Review the details of the transaction and click Confirm.

6. Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number.

You’re done!

After transaction

If the transaction you just made happens regularly, you can schedule the next one from the confirmation screen. Here’s how:

1. After you finish a successful transaction, you’ll see a confirmation screen with all the details and the question “Do you make this transfer regularly?” Click Set up frequency.

2. Select if the transaction is one of the following:

a. One Time

b. Monthly

c. Quarterly

3. Click the calendar icon to select when you want this transaction to take place again.

4. If you selected Monthly or Quarterly, select how many times you want the transaction to take place.

5. Click Save.

6. Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number.

You’re done! For fund transfers scheduled on a weekend or holiday, your transaction will happen on the next banking day. Please make sure your account has enough funds before the scheduled transfer.

To make sure your scheduled transaction does not push through, you’ll need to delete it before 10 PM in the evening of a banking day before the scheduled date.

Log in to BPI via web browser and follow these steps:

1. After logging in to BPI via web browser, click the settings icon in the upper right corner of the home screen.

2. Scroll down to Transactions and click Manage scheduled transactions.

3. Select the account that has the scheduled transaction you want to delete.

4. A list of all your scheduled transactions will appear. Find the one you want to delete, then click the three dots on the right. Click Delete.

5. A pop-up will appear to confirm you want to delete the scheduled transaction. Click Delete.

That’s it! Your scheduled transaction will be deleted in real-time.

Yes, you can generate a QR code for each account that you own through the BPI app or via web browser.

Yes, you can link the same BPI deposit account to both your registered mobile number and email address. You just can’t link two or more deposit accounts to your email address or mobile number.

No, your updated contact details do not automatically link to your deposit account. You’ll need to unlink your old mobile number or email address from your deposit account first, then link your new mobile number or email address.
